Three main considerations
speed and reliability
Most site owners lose money if their site goes down or someone leaves their site due to moderation. At least the web provider should be able to provide 99.95% uptime and page load times of less than 1 second.
We use a simple WordPress site as our benchmark and run a no-compromise Ipage speed and quality test every month.
Uptime: 99.90%
Response time: 913ms
WordPress processing time: 301ms
So far, iPage has exceeded usability and speed requirements. They also destroyed most of the challenges. Here are the details of your monthly submissions:

Support quality
Ipage has good resources. For you to contact support They have 24/7 email, support tickets, phone calls and live chat. Your knowledge base is deep.
For me, the quickest way to quickly assess your level of support knowledge is to talk to them in person and ask them some simple questions. Most traders should know without hesitation:
“Which version of RHEL or CentOS is my site running?”
It is the most standard operating system. When it comes to operating systems, most hosting companies use Linux. Whether it’s Red Hat Enterprise Linux (RHEL) or CentOS, you can quickly judge how easy your team’s skills are to let them know.
Here is a screenshot of my web chat:
Chatting with iPage took longer than usual. It took about 40 minutes from start to finish and my original question was completely unanswered.
Chatting with iPage took longer than usual. It took about 40 minutes from start to finish and my original question was completely unanswered.
I got in touch with the Gowreesha staff within a minute and started chatting. The agent didn’t verify the account and I was a little disappointed.
Unfortunately, proxies don’t know the difference between a web server and an operating system. Eventually the agent told me which version of Ubuntu he was running, and they couldn’t answer.
They want me to submit a support ticket. This is standard procedure for finding answers. This discussion raises many concerns about iPage’s security as a hosting company.
Affordability
iPage is relatively cheap for any web hosting company. Their basic plan starts at $1.99 per month and can host unlimited domains and one free domain.
Remember, this is the price you offer 3 years in advance. Prices go up slightly if you leave 12 months early. You can’t do this every month. it’s a pity
For example, if you choose the most affordable plan, which is $1.99 per month for 3 years, you’ll need to renew for $7.99, and for two years you’ll get $2.49 per month, $8.99 for renewal, and one year costs $2.99 per month. Renew $9.99
Now, if you want to migrate your website to Ipage, unfortunately there is no free option to get started. The fee is $150.00 per site. But you can move up to 5 sites at that price.
This is an introductory promotional offer with a 30-day money-back guarantee.

Do we recommend iPage?
Yes, we recommend iPage as a hosting company. Get started easily even if you are just starting to build a website.
iPage focuses on the speed and usability of our reports.
Their personal dashboard is easy to use. We love their money back guarantee. Their prices are the lowest among all hosting companies. up to now
However, there are some things we don’t like. Their customer support is very basic. If you use a blog site, we don’t have any problems.
But what if you have a working e-commerce site and you run into serious issues? Repair may take some time. You may need to submit a ticket to customer service.
They have a well thought out knowledge base. It’s easy to use and the theme headers are very simple.
One thing to keep in mind that might decide if you go for Ipage is that they don’t have a cpanel, and that might be a turning point in your decision. They have something similar to cPanel called vDeck.
The difference between cPanel and vDeck is the controls. vDeck gives you more ability to install pre-built templates. If you’re just starting out and don’t want to accidentally change anything without a security system, cPanel is a great choice. intrinsically safe
to take advantage of the low prices they offer. We recommend using the 3-year plan.
Despite some issues, it’s worth it.
