Realme recently launched the Realme Pad Mini in India. This is the company’s second tablet in India after the Realme Pad that was launched last year. It comes in four variants in India. The 3GB+32GB variant with WiFi costs Rs 10,999, the 3GB+32GB variant with LTE connectivity costs Rs 12,999. Similarly, the 4GB+64GB variant with WiFi will cost Rs 12,999 and the 4GB+64GB variant with LTE connectivity will cost Rs 14,999. Here’s a quick review of the tab.
Realme Pad Mini Design
Realme Pad Mini Design The Realme Pad Mini is 211.8mm tall and 124.48mm wide and comes with a slim profile of 7.6mm. It comes with an aluminum chassis with flat edges. This metallic design ensures that the back of the tab remains smudge-free, no matter how harsh the usage. At the back, you’ll find a single camera that is housed inside a slim camera module.
On the right you find the home button and volume rocker and on the left is a SIM card tray for LTE connectivity. On the top you will find a 3.5mm jack along with the speaker grille and on the bottom you will find the USB Type-C port along with the second speaker grille. Overall, the Realme Pad Mini offers beautiful design that is capable of withstanding daily wear and tear. However, it looks very similar to the 5th-gen iPad Air except for a few changes.
Realme Pad Mini Display
Realme Pad Mini Display The Realme Pad Mini comes with an 8.7-inch WXGA+ full screen LCD display with a resolution of 1340×800 pixels and a maximum brightness of 360 nits. In experience, the Pad Mini offers an average display that’s bright enough for indoor use and at night but fails under the sun. Colors are fairly accurate, especially for a device in its price range, but don’t expect an exceptional OTT viewing experience.
Realme Pad Mini Camera
Coming to the camera, the Realme Pad Mini sports an 8-megapixel camera at the back and a 5-megapixel camera at the front. The rear camera delivers a decent performance when there is enough ambient light. The colors are quite accurate. However, clarity sometimes takes a beating. At night, the Pad Mini captures images with ample visual noise. Coming to the front camera, pictures taken in low light lack clarity. However, the image quality is slightly better in daylight conditions.
Realme Pad Mini Performance
As far as performance is concerned, the Realme Pad Mini is powered by a Unisoc T616 processor, coupled with up to 4GB of RAM and up to 64GB of storage space. In use, the Pad Mini offers a fairly smooth experience, especially if you’re not using it for graphics-heavy usage. It works flawlessly while browsing through social media and reading articles and doing light editing work.
But don’t expect it to help you during your weekend gaming marathon. Coming to the battery, the Pad Mini packs a 6,400mAh battery, which can easily last two days if it’s not your primary device (like your smartphone). In daily use, it lasts for about a day and a half.
